End of contract

Below are the procedures that apply at the end of your contract.

When your account expires, you will receive several warning emails:

  • one month before closing
  • two weeks before closing
  • one week before closing

Account extension

A procedure is described in the warning emails to request an extension of your computer account.

As a reminder: please write an email to your HR with a copy to the SIP and your manager indicating your new status or your new end of contract date.
The SIP cannot extend your account without the agreement of the administrative service of your laboratory, you must imperatively make a request to the HR.

Mail forwarding

When your account is closed, you will no longer have access to the email service, but you will be able to request a redirection of emails arriving on your professional mailbox (of the laboratory to which you are attached) to a personal address.

It is possible to activate this redirection one month before the expiration date of your contract by logging on to https://compte.osupytheas.fr. This redirection will be valid for a maximum of two years.

Backup of mails

Before closing your account you may want to keep your emails, here is how to proceed:

  1. Use an email client such as Mail (Windows), Thunderbird (any OS) or Mail (MacOS)
  2. Add your lab account in the email client
  3. Drag and drop emails or email folders from your mailbox to a local folder or another mailbox previously added in the email client
